New Facility Currently Accepting Applications for Hundreds of New Jobs
SINGAPORE – November 6, 2007 - PayPal today announced the establishment of its new international headquarters and technology development center in Singapore . PayPal plans to hire more than 200 technical professionals for this development center in the next five years.
To support PayPal’s growing global business, the Singapore development center is hiring individuals with experience in product development, operations and infrastructure design, engineering and engineering support.
“We selected Singapore as the new home of both our international headquarters and development center to tap into the country’s excellent workforce and we’re currently aggressively hiring to build out our fantastic team,” said Mr Scott Thompson, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for PayPal.
